Is it ok to give out your passport number to Mumbai, India Forerunners Healthcare Consultants?

I am having gastric bypass in Mumbai, India. The Forerunners Healthcare Consultants asked me for my Passport number. Is the Forerunners Healthcare Consultants legitimate?

Why would they want it, unless you are not an Indian National, if you are other forms of ID should also be acceptable.

OH, yes and there is not much they could do with your passport number I would think, legally anyway.

if u are not an Indian Nation, yes u have to give your passport number. If u are an Indian passport number is not required.
