  1. Yes, it is okay. I always give my hamster them. They chew eat and play with it.

  2. YES Almost any gerbil owner can tell you that the one gift a gerbil likes better than almost anything else is a toilet paper tube. Drop a TP tube in your gerbils' tank and watch them go nuts! They'll probably run through the center of the tube a few times and then latch onto it and start gnawing on it. No, gerbils don't eat cardboard. They are actually shredding the cardboard tube into soft bedding for their nests. Full-grown gerbils can completely demolish a toilet paper tube in less than 5 minutes

  3. As long as your hamster can fit then it's fine. And it's recycling. However make sure is they nibble on the toilet paper tubes they do not go through them too quickly. I had a gerbil who decided to eat them rather then its normal food. He was an odd gerbil though.

  4. well i had a hamster and it loved toilet paper tubes!

it nibbled them and it did him no harm so i think ur gerbil should be fine :D

    don't worry :D

  5. i always gave them to my gerbil, they didnt usualy last long coz she'd chew them up but she loved the deffo m8

  6. its good but take it out if they start to chew on it, it could probably clog them up.... they make plastic ones at pet stores.

  7. I have two gerbils and they absolutely love them ! They are really safe but I would  not give them to them at night for your sake! They will keep you up.

  8. yeah. i save all of mine for them they chew them up in under an hour. they have a ball with it!! yep, perfectly safe.

  9. I still give mine toilet paper tubes!! no white ones, and make sure that glue is not on there that can poison them!!

They also like rawhide bones soaked in juices(Apple) :)

  10. I give my hamster tp tubes all the time. I have read about gerbils alot too and hamsters and gerbils can have the same stuff. So yes go ahead and give it too them. You can give them some tp on the tube as well, they will like it.

  11. It is really good for them. It is a toy, a hiding place, and bedding or litter.

  12.   Yes, they love them. And kitchen roll tubes and cornflake cardboard boxes they love to chew them, it helps with their teeth, they have to wear them down. Give them a dog biscuit sometimes and a bit of carrot or apple, but only a bit, too much isn't good for them.

  13. it's fine. if you were worried about them eating then, they don't normally... they shred them. but they are a cheap source of fun for your furry friend!

  14. In my experience it is perfectly ok no matter what

and is your bored you can make houses for him with

Popsicle sticks and non-toxic glue. it perfectly safe!

    XD

  15. i breed gerbils so i have done it t is safe to do they run in  and out of them and chew them to peices in about 30 mins fun to watch aswell

  16. Y it is goo fo u 2 gib dem papa towel rollz ta plai wit.

  17. The toilet tube are fun for them and totally safe!!

But I have a hamster, but it's the same thing they are both rodents!

  18. I had gerbils and they LOVED the toilet tubes!!! He lived for about 4 or more years so I'd say it's safe.

Other things they love: egg containers, tp, basically anything they can chew. Give them tons of cardboard and withing a day they will chew it all down to nothing, effectively making their own bedding. give them lots because they love to make tunnels in it, but change it once a week or they will get bugs.

    Happy gerbiling!

  19. Yeah its cool. You may want to watch them for a bit though to make sure they can easily pass through the tube. I had a friend who's gerbil was a bit to big and got stuck.

They like to chew on the rolls. It just adds extra bedding and they seem to enjoy having something to nibble on.
