i have four and i think it's fine..that being said i think that some people are unable to handle that many dogs. i think that you need to be able to give them all love and attention and take care of them..if you are able to do that then i think it's fine.

yes it is.. as long as you take good care of them feed them properly and spend enough time with them etc..

yes its ok... but it would be great if you didnt discriminate the indian like this! poor indian will have a tough time without having a female to have fun with! ;-)

YES!!!!!!!

Well we have 5 dogs,2 dalmatians(m/f),2 English Springer Spaniels(m/m) & 1 Lakeland terrier cross Border Terrier(f). I think its wonderful to have loads of dogs! We did have 6,but Sadly one of our dogs a King Charles Cavalier passed away a couple of weeks ago..

Its a funny question to ask! Course its okay!

it's irresponsible if it's just you. How can you possibly have the time to devote to each one's needs?

Everyone's gotta be a hater, eh? You "Thumbs Down" people must be liberals, because you don't understand the reason and accountability of my statement. While it's true, you *can* keep more than a few animals, it's not only unwise, it's unfair to the animal. It'd be the same as if you and 4 of your friends were competing for the attention of one guy.

depends on where you live, some places have restrictions and if you lived in a small apartment in a big city it could be a problem, i live in the country and have 6 dogs.I spend a lot of time with them and if I'm not around they have each other, part of the fun is watching them interact with each other.

If you have enough room and you're able to walk all of them, and you can get all the food, and the toys that they need, and leashes, bones, beds, and bowls, and plenty more!!!!!!

You have to call your city council and see if there's a limit on how many dogs you can own. Some cities place a limit on 3, some go up to 6.

Better safe than sorry. If someone reports you for breaking the law, you might have one of your dogs taken away.

As long as you look after them and give them their excersie and food. Why not! So many need homes. If people are willing to take care of them, I say let them.

Just make sure you check your city bi-law because some people may complain if your over because they have nothing else better to do.

If you provide the love, the space and the money. Why not. Just remember some area's dont allow people to have more then 3 pets.

I have 5 dogs right now. Two were originally mine, two Dobermans,one male & female, one is a rescued mutt,female, the other is a rescued senior Siberian Husky, female that was abandoned by her previous owner & my last addition is another Doberman, male that had to be re homed because his owner passed away in June.

They can be a handful at times since they are all inside dogs, but I have love in my heart for each one of them & will be a big part of my family for the rest of their lives.

I think as long as one can provide all that the dog needs it is fine to have 5 dogs.

if you are able to devote proper care and time to each one i don't see any problem with it! hopefully you have a huge yard too :-)

Not ok for me, I dont like pets,though i dont hate them either.
