Is it ok to have a weird feeling when you insert a tampon?

It didnt hurt, *this is my first tampon try ever* and i put the applicator all the way it, then pressed the thingy, and only the string is hanging out, and i dont feel anything,

but i have a weird feeling, like when you just told a big lie, is that normal???

its ok hom its like butterflies in your stomach. you dont know what to exspect . it is all part of being a women . it can be very scary . talk to your mom  and she can help you more. big hugs to you. i know it is scary..
