Is it ok to have both firefox and internet explorer?

Yes i have both

1. MSN uses IE it for email

2. Don't think you can uninstall IE completely

3. I check my website for cross browser compatibility

4. Firefox a less security flaws as IE

5. Firefox is highly customizable to suite my needs

Yes.  Some websites still require internet explorer in order to view pages and to run certain applications.  I only use internet explorer if a website will not run in firefox and I trust the site.

Yes, it is fine to have both Firefox and IE on the same computer. Just make sure that if you have one as your default browser the other does not automatically detect and advise if it is not the default. Even if you prefer Firefox of IE (as I do) it is still useful to have as some sites, like microsoft windows update, specify you need to have IE to access it.

yup, it's okay... i have Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and (Apple) Safari on my pc... i have Windows XP Prof as OS (operating system), and they all work fine. :-)

Yes.  They are just 2 different internet browsers.  They do not effect each other.
