  1. It would not be a good idea to put both species together. I keep my monitor in a 6 ft long reptarium alone. Besides the space, a monitor can do damage to the tortoises or vice versa. Just go out and buy a reptarium. a 260 g is around 150 and can hold the monitor for his life, or you can check craigslist. occasionally you'll have people selling cheap 125 g tanks.

  2. I don't know, but my first impression are- no. Especially if they were baby tortoises. I thought Bosc monitors were carnivorous, and have very sharp teeth. Even if it just bit the tortoise out of annoyance it would really hurt it.

  3. no both species of reptile needs different housing , if you put the tortoises in with the bosc you stand a chance of ending up with shell damage if the bosc whips the shell, also if you have male tortoises they are very territorial and protective over their girls so will attack the bosc, you also have the issue of cross contamination with the two reptiles, they might seem healthy but they can still be a carrier of a disease that effects the other, but not show any signs of it themselves, a ten foot enclosure will be what is required to prevent overcrowding for your leopards, mixing the two species is really not a good idea, best of luck honey hope you find a solution.

  4. i would say no for 2 reasons

bosc's have a very strong tail whip and bite and came become agitated by other vivarium inhabitance and lash out at them

also full grown leopards need alot of room i would say that a 10ft sq would be for just them

finally there is of course all the usual mixing issues

  5. of course

  6. NO DON"T DO IT . DO NOT LISTEN 2 THE OTHER PEOPLE ANSWERING THIS question. A monitor is one of the animals that can get in a tortoise's shell. DON"T LET THEM BE IN THE SAME CAGE!
