Kicking the dog is the same as kicking a human police officer. The dog may bite you, if you are that stupid. Assault on a police officer is a felony, human or canine.

No it's not ok. BTW, police dogs are considered to be actual police officers. So if you hit a police dog, you'll get arrested for assault upon a police officer.
