Yes! it is! I do research on hamsters and realise that there is 100% benefit to the hamsters! The exercising helps their cardio vascular muscels to develope and this improves heart rate as well as the liver strength. s*x drive also improves.

Oh my gosh! NOOOO~~~!!! YOur personal thoughts are great. You should NEVA EVA let your hamster go near water except drinking. Your hamster will die! First it'll get a wet tail and then die. And yes, that is torture. No rodents can swim! You gonna kill your hamster. And that girl victoria is crazy. Her vet is crazy i mean. A NON proffessional vet. How can a vet not know that all rodents can't swim!

first of all, they aren't even supposed to get wet. this is why they dont need baths and have to have water in a bottle and not a dish. it will get sick and die if it doesnt dry quick enough. and second, since hamsters arent even supposed to get wet, i doubt they know how to swim

Syrian hamsters come from a desert-type climate. They are not aquatic. It would stress them out a great deal(ans possibly cause them to drown) if you drop them in the water. So no. It's not ok to let hamsters swim.

no you NEVER let your hamster swim because it has oils in its fur that help it survive and if they are washed out your hamster can get sick from lack of oils in its fur.It can also get a pneumonia.
