  1. When you reading Quran, you have to be concentrated on it...  Otherwise you can hear Nasheeds....  No need to do both at same time..  I mean No use of both

  2. if it was your parents at home or your boss at work who was talking to you, you would definitely turn off the music player to listen to him. so what about the words of Allah not your boss or parents!!

  3. There are and are not any specific instructions to reading the Quran. You may read it in your bed, while doing something else etc. HOWEVER !!!!!!

Experience tells that, it is NOT an easy book. There is TOO MUCH hidden in it. And you cannot really get to it, unless you concentrate on it well. Therefore, I really don't think you can benefit with it, if you are in a distraction by some other thing. I do turn ON the Television so that there is no silence in the room. However, my mind is completely oblivious to the sounds, while I am reading it. That is my way. You may devise your own.

  4. You can to concentrate while reading Quran, only your own voice should be heard

  5. well, as the first answerer said, you won't be able to concentrate on your reading, i would just recite the Qur'an!!

  6. No, I wouldn't listen to nasheeds and quran at the same time.

The quran should have its own place, and be read at a relaxing time, and your focus should be on Allah (SWT) and his words.

Personally, I wouldn't do those two things at once.

  7. I believe any Holy book be-it the Quran or the Bible should be read in silence. If it's a bit too quite, perhaps you could sit near water e.g. the beach or in a nice garden. Your surrounds usually help you to concentrate, so personalise yours. All the best.

  8. If you ask halal or haram I am not a scholar to issue a Fatawa. But I know It is not a good practice.. It's a command of Allah (s.w.t) that whenever Quran is being recited, we must give attention with complete silence. Allah (s.w.t) did not say He will punish you if you don't do this way. But this is a way to receiving His Mercy. There are so many etiquettes in Islam which we are taught to receiving the Mercy of Allah (s.w.t). A believer must give preference to all that. Since without Allah's mercy we all will be ruined.

    Holy Quran says:

'When the Qur'an is recited, listen to it with complete silence so that you may be shown mercy. (Sura Al-Airaf: Verse:204)

  9. No, I personally dont think its ok. We have to give at-most respect to the Holy Book of Allah (swt), and while reading it, we have to sincerely read it.

The Quran should be read with full concentration.

  10. No you should respect the quran by concentrating on it alone nothing should distract you from it

  11. quran is words from ِِAllah

    nasheeds are words from humans

    which is important??
