  1. Only if its a takeaway restaurant otherwise you'd look stupid.

  2. yes. people do it all the time at redlobster

  3. Yes! Bread is an appetizer! I think it should be okay for people to order bread to go.

  4. its okay unless u ask for additional

  5. Sure it is but I would not eat it.  I try to avoid bread and soda's

  6. Absolutely - its part of the meal at the restaurant.  Actually alot of restaurants that serve bread already include it in their takeout orders, including Outback and Red Lobster!

  7. Very much so. Just make sure that what your requesting isn't ridiculously out of line. Restaurants serve a purpose. To fulfill their guest's needs. Asking for an order of bread to take with your entree is nothing out of the ordinary; rather asking for 6 loaves of bread to accompany your bowl of soup to go is rather ridiculous.

A nice tip on a to go order won't ever hurt anything either. A good tip one time goes a lot longer than a repeated bad diner. I've worked in the industry for over seven years and loved almost every minute of it. There are ups and downs, just like every other industry, but overall I experienced numerous different cultures and peoples that have changed my life.. and not always for the better.

The bottom line of a restaurant is to maintain good guest relations and to continually excel at maintaining these subsequent relations. If the restaurant did not want it's client el to have the perks of bread consumption, they simply wouldn't offer the perk.

    GG bread ^^

  8. yes ive done it alot of times

  9. Well yeah, why wouldn't it be?  The restaurant doesn't care what you're buying so long as you're buying and they're making money.
