I have a credit card with Wells Fargo. I also have a personal checking & savings account, and a business checking & savings account. When I go out and purchase something, is it ok for me to transfer money online from one of my checking accounts to pay off the card? or do i have to wait for my monthly bill?

  1. no u can pay it before the paper bill comes in the mail thats smart

  2. Nope, you can pay it anytime you want! It's great that you do that...keeps down debt! :)

  3. yeah you can pay whenever you like. if you do it before the monthly bill then u wont get charged the interest

  4. Yes, you can pay it off anytime before your bill is due.  However, if you pay it off, let's say a day or two before your bill arrives, it may not show up on your paper statement, but it will be reflected in your online account.  Just keep track of your account online to be sure that your payment was reflected in your balance.  Hope that helps.

  5. Watch out! You may be paying extra fees... technically you may pay the next day. But if your card changes fees to extra payments you just be paying more for the peace of mind

  6. Absolutely, actually it's highly recommended that you pay your balance ASAP that way you don't get into the habit of coming up short when the due date rolls around. You don't need to wait on a bill because you already know that you charged it.
