Question:

Is it ok to place a different male in the breeding tank when the female already has eggs?

since the other male betta wasnt working i put in another different male this one flares at the female and she actually watchs but the other one she runs away but when i put in the new male she was already really fat and he hasnt even built the bubble nest yet

is it ok to do this? wat do you suggest

(she didnt like the other male)

(she is in a 5.5 gallon tank with the male on the outside and shes in the chimney)

  1. do not put them together in one area they either need to be separated or you need more females. The male will kill the female if they are alone in a tank.


  2. If they aren't fighting, then I don't see a problem.
