  1. if you do it will look like your bacon grease in your pipes hard if you do boil a pot of hot water and pour it down your drain it will meld ,do not do this with porcelain it will probably break

  2. Of course it's not ok. It is very bad for the sewr and the environment.

  3. No, no, no the answer is no. If some accidentally went down the drain it will not be a major disaster, but generally doing it on a regular basis is not good for your drains and you may find yourself calling a plumber to deal with the consequences. Besides its not good for the environment either. Is better to let it cool and scrape out of a container and put in a discarded container of some sort and dispose of in your garbage or trash.

    This website says it all

  4. I pour excess fat into a can or some type of container that can tolerate hot grease.  Wait for it to cool and solidify then throw it in the trash.  When washing extremely greasy dishes, pots and pans, I use Dawn dish washing liquid because it works well for removing grease and then I let the hot water run for a moment or so after finishing the dishes.  That way (hopefully) there will not be many problems with clogged pipes.

  5. no, let it cool down and pour into trash can.

It is bad for the drain.

  6. That's the worst thing you can do because it will clog up your drain.Try using a empty coffee can, that's what I do after cooking any thing that has grease in it.

  7. yopur not suppose to but you can with running warm water along with it

  8. no when it cools in tempreture it hardens in the pipe and causes blockages

  9. If you do, it will eventually clog the drain.  The liquid grease from your cooking will solidify over time and turn into more of a solid.  As it does, and you add more to it, you slowly clog the drain.  Same concept as how cholesterol clogs our arteries.  Makes you wonder why we eat red meat, eh?

  10. no it will clog your drain.  if you have woods in your backyard dump it there.

  11. NO, because you drains will clog up and then you'll have to clean then out, or dig up the yard to have the sewer pipe replaced.

  12. ive done it alot but also run hot water along with it for and a couple of mins after to help it run on down the drain.if u dont do that it will clog

  13. I totally agree with Iron_Man. I have had to clean out the 'S' bend under the sink because it became totally blocked.
