  1. I've worked with nursery stock and landscaping for years. The "best" time for pruning your pear tree is in the fall and winter.. if it's a fruit bearing tree. If it's an ornamental (Bradford, Aristocrat, etc.) then you may do it now (although the fall or winter is still the best time).


  2. no it will bleed and die due to the heat ,wait until Fall or early Spring.
