  1. It's not OK to keep any fish in a bowl.  One goldfish requires a minimum of a 20 gallon tank with 10 more gallons for each additional fish.  Keeping them in small bowls leads to stunting and organ failure.  A full grown fancy goldfish will be 8" long and a common will be 10".  The water in a bowl will be fouled so quickly that the fish will be suffering ammonia poisoning in a matter of hours.

  2. You can't put any Goldfish in a bowl.

Fancy Goldfish grow up to a foot long and require a 20 gallon tank, and 10 gallons for any other Fancies. Common Goldfish grow up to a foot and a half long and require a 55 gallon tank, and 15 gallons for any additional ones. And they also need a good sized filter as well since they are heavy poopers.

Placing a Goldfish in a bowl will stunt them, meaning their bodies stop growing, but their organs don't. Read this article on Goldfish in bowls: http://www.epinions.com/content_31856149...

  3. Yes because i had four goldfish in a bowl and they were just fine but i moved them to a larger tank now. But two you can keep in a bowl.

  4. It really depends on the size of the tank (or bowl).

  5. no.  A bowl is too small for two goldfish.  Fancy's will grow to around8 inches and two of them will not fit in a bowl.  Two fancy's will however fit in a 10 gallon.  Perhaps you may want to Upgrade.

Get only one in a large enough bowl to house him at full growth.  No more than one.

  6. you really shouldn't use bowls as they are bad for the fish with high ammonia levels and low amounts of oxygen this fish is really surviving rather than thriving i would get a tank for about £30 from pets at home you get a 19 gallon

  7. Yes its fine as long as there is 2 females and one male.

  8. If its not too small.

  9. yes u can. i hav 6 goldfish in the same tank. (its a big tank though)
