  1. If you were hired by e-mail, it might be okay. But if you were hired in person, you should resign in person and do the necessary paperwork, perhaps followed by an e-mail confirming your discussion. You may need to give notice so they can find a replacement. If you just flake out it may come back to haunt you.


  2. No. Always do that face to face in person, otherwise it looks sneaky and low class.
