  1. thats awesome. im only doing about 40 a week but im only a sophmore so its ok.


  2. It depends on your purpose. If you are running cross country that is probably too much.

    If you are training for a marathon then that is about right.  

  3. i'm guessing that your running for cross country and you're doing some summer training before practice starts.  55 miles a week is great!!!  i wish i could do that!  my coach encourages more mileage.  some guys on my team run between 55 and 60 miles a week!

  4. ya but only if you've ran the past few years, not good if your a beginner runner. also, make sure you build up to it, not just start 55miles after not running for a week or two. and what our coach is doing is having some guys on the team max out at 55 or 60 i think for like 2 weeks and then drop the milage a little before the season officially begins. so you should probably do something like that so you dont get hurt from running that much.
