  1. Its ok to sell it. They are not expecting you to show up at family holiday wearing it.

FYI: There are also organizations that accept bridesmaid dress donations as prom dresses for girls that cannot afford it.

  2. Yeah absolutely.  Everyone I know who is asked to be a bridesmaid sells it after.

  3. Absolutely. It's your dress now, you can do what you please with it. If you're not going to wear it again (and really, no one ever re-wears their bridesmaid dress), you should sell it.

  4. Depends! If it has any kind of value for you, you'll repent having done so.If not, the sooner you do it the better.

  5. i think that is there gift to you, its up2 u if u sell it just thought u should know that its seen as a gift 2 u and will they ever ask if u still have it?...good luck

  6. Yep..I have done it twice who in the heck is going to wear the dress again. So sell it it's taking up space in you closet

  7. It's yours to do with what you want.

  8. Of course!  It was a dress purchased for the wedding and the wedding has come and gone.  It's not meant to be kept as a souvenir.  :)

  9. keep it, family problems will arise...

    they'll be like:

"lend 'kate' your bridesmaids dress...can you drop them off tommorow..or something?"

  10. If you're never going to wear it again, go for it. I would.

  11. Why not? They let you keep it so it is yours, just don't tell them you have sold it as it may upset them.

  12. I dont see why not. Unless you plan to wear it again. I wouldnt have thought the family would have a use for it. Maybe you could put the money to better use.

  13. oh hunny go for it , waste not want not some one else would get great wear out of it

  14. Um... no because I would sell it but you know, it was your bro's wedding and maybe you should just keep it and cherish the memories in the future. And it was a gift right?

  15. I'm sure they dontw ant it back, so if you dont need it any longer then sell it!  Maybe with the money buy the family a little tahnk you gift!

  16. I would offer the bride the opportunity to sell it as if the other bridesmaids don't want theirs either she can sell them as a set.

  17. If you don't plan on using it for anything then why not?  I don't think many brides expect their maids to keep their dresses and wear them over again.

  18. If you want to, go for it... i'm sure he won't mind!

  19. Go for it-

Little tip if you put it on ebay- wait closer to prom season.

I have sold many bridesmaid dress and I even sold my wedding dress right after my wedding.

Can't stand keeping a closet full of junk if I am not using it!

  20. sure why not?

  21. Yes - sell it.

  22. I would think it would be fine.  I mean what else are you going to do with it?

  23. Yes off cousre it is .Whats the point of keeping it if your never going to wear it again

  24. I think that u should discuss it with your brother and sister in law - that way they cannot be offended if you sell it!

  25. Sure it will free up space for your wedding dress...

  26. yeah why not? You can sell it out if its of no use to you. go for it.

  27. If they gave it to you & you do not plan to wear it ever again then I would guess so
