It can be dangerous especially if there's cloud to ground lightning. If the lightning hits the water pipe while you're in water, you'd get eletricuted.

The effects of lightning would probably have to travel a long distance before you were affected by it in the shower.  

it probably would be okay.  but if you are worried about it, i wouldn't shower in the storm that had lightning.  wouldn't you want to be outside anyways?

I wouldn't worry about it, especially if you're in a modern house in a built-up residential area.  Look at it this way: when was the last time you heard a news report about someone being electrocuted from lightning when they were in their house...probably never.  You do hear about people being hit by lightning, and the newspapers love to report about it, but it's almost always someone who was out on a golf course, or hiding under a tree from the rain.

Definitely not.  Mythbusters has tested this, and while you're not likely to be killed should a strike occur, you can be injured.  

If you're in the shower when a storm comes, hurry up and get out, if a storm comes before hand, don't get in.  Better safe than sorry.
