  1. Showering offers the same hazards as swimming with contacts. The quantity of water can wash the contact lenses right out of your eyes and may cause problems if your water is chlorinated. While the exposure to chemicals is probably not long enough to cause issues, there is a chance that chlorine will be trapped behind the contact, causing irritation and discomfort.

Some people do manage to shower with their contacts in, by simply not looking up into the water or by closing their eyes during the shower. While possible, it 's not advisable. There is a pretty high risk that you'll lose your contacts and they can easily be washed down the drain, making it impossible to recover them. It 's a better idea to simply wait until after your morning shower to put your contacts in.

Taking a bath shouldn't be a problem, as long as you don't go under the water. It 's possible to wash up without risking the loss of your lenses and this shouldn't be an issue. Most people don't submerge themselves in the bathtub anyway.

  2. I've had contact lenses since I was 16 (I'm 23 now) and have been wearing them in the shower since day one. Not even ONCE have they fallen out from the steam (and I take majorly hot showers, EVERYTHING gets steamed up) or the water. Whenever I put my head under the water i close my eyes tightly. It's been so great being able to actually see in the shower these past 7 years. :D It's absolutely fine to shower with them in. No fear!

  3. Yes, you can shower with your contacts in.  If you get water in your eye it might burn and they could fall out but you get used to it.  I have to shower with mine in or else I can't see anything :)

  4. Ya, you can keep them in. I do.

  5. Lol yea. You can sometimes sleep in them. you might have to moisturize in the morning though. but be careful and keep them clean if you do sleep in them. And be careful not to get soap in your eyes with them in. then you will have to take them out.

  6. sure

  7. no dood dont do it

  8. yeah you can as long as you dont mind them falling out if you get water in your eyes, theyre hard to find after that happens :P

  9. absolutely. you can swim with them also, as long as you don't open your eyes under water.

  10. Yes, you can. It makes it a little more difficult later on to take them out, but i always take my showers with them. Its alot easier than putting them out and in again.

  11. Yes it is. Just don't look directly into the water with your eyes open. then they will flush right out of your eyes! :)

  12. i would suppose so...i just wouldn't keep my face in open contact with water

  13. Yeah it'll be fine to shower with them on. Just don't get the water pressure in your eyes or you might lose em.

  14. its alright to do that- as long as water doesnt get in your eyes. you just have to make sure nothing goes into your eyes. you will be fine!

    hope i helped! :)

  15. i do. just make sure u done get water in your eyes. they will come out. but i wear mine in the shower

  16. If I showered with all my contacts it would be crowded. You can only have so many people in the shower.

  17. ABSOLUTELY NOT! The steam from the water will get into your eyes and the contacts will fall directly out of your eyes.
