What's the consensus?
Is it ok for someone to stand in a parking space, and wait for the person they're with to circle around to get the space?
I don't think it's cool; I think it's first come, first serve, meaning in a car.
Here's an actual parking dilemma I've having -
There is very little parking available on our tiny street. My elderly neighbor, who had a mild stroke, and does not
have a car, puts 2 plastic crates in front of his house at the crack of dawn so that no one can park there, in case his daughter comes to visit. He keeps them there most all the time! She comes over a 2-3 times a week.
They also have a side driveway to use. Sometimes that's taken by his son visiting.
At the end of the street it's easier to find a space, so I feel she could park there. I mentioned it nicely when I first met her, and she got angry.
It's frustrating to come home with groceries, or in the rain, and have to walk all the way down the street when I Iive here.
