Theres so many dangerous people out there, includign drivers who can cause problems, maybe becuse they don;t like you or any one. The chances of beign assoulted by behaviour and actions is high.

Do you agree its ok for your own safety to carry a disguised weapon for sfaety reasons?

My cousin whos is a medic at warick uni plays hockey and carries a fine set of hockey sticks in the boot, becuase he plays hockey every week. When i went to visit him last yr, i went out with him and his mates and on the way back we were joking aroudn with pedestrians etc.

Onc of them got realy roudy once for no reason as we were minding our own business, so my cousins mates wanted to scare the bunch, so they got the sticks from the boat, and turned aroudn and tried scarying the people. Maybe it was right to do so in this occasion but it woudln;t be correct to start trouble for no reason.

  1. Yes, it is legal plain and simple.......

  2. If you stopped, and retrieved weapons to threaten pedestrians, you are all lucky you didn't go to jail.  What kind of moron doesn't realize he can just drive away from people on foot?    The chance of being assaulted goes up if you carry weapons like that, and the chance of going to jail goes up more if you get out of the car and pull those weapons out.  There is enough trouble in the world already without making more.

  3. ha ha go get them with your cricket bat

  4. Check local laws about disguised weapons, but I think youre allowed to carry stuff like that around for personal safety. And, if not, just keep some random hockey or cricket equipment in your car as well as the bats/sticks, that way if you ARENT allowed them, you can say that theyre just for playing. Also, IO wouldnt just start trouble with em by going around just scaring people, even if they are geting rowdy. Just keep something with you for protection, and thats it.

Totally agree with you, though. Nowheres safe nowadays
