  1. Yes it is fine to swap baby milk but baby might take a bit to get use to it or might not like it. With my youngest daughter when she was born i had to switch her on all different baby milks as they all had different reactions. It was only then i found out she was lactose intolerant.

  2. Yes, it is. Aptamil is a far superior milk IMO. Much better for babie's tummy.

It's the one they used to use in the NICU I used to work in, if that gives you any confidence.

My girls had it when I stopped breast feeding.

Their brand of baby food is good too. (Milupa).

  3. I had to switch my youngest sons formula at 5 weeks. The best way to do it is to mix both types of formula. So say your baby is taking 4 oz at a time, make 3 oz of what he is on now with 1 oz of the new stuff. Next day make 2 oz and 2oz. Next day 3oz new 1oz old. Next day 4 oz new. Make sure you prepare formula separately and then pour it into 1 bottle. Your little one will probably still have a bit of tummy trouble but nothing like switching all at once. Good luck to you.

  4. Yes, you can swap formula at any time. It's just best not to mix regularly as you'll never know which one is causing which reaction!

  5. i dont think you should. in fact actually doctors recommend breast feeding until 6 months+. i think a change may upset ur childs stomach.

  6. I switched my son from SMA to Aptimal at around that age and it suited him much better.  Thinking about it, it was when he was 6 weeks old because he immediately started to sleep through the night.

He is 6 months old now and a big, strong healthy boy who is crawling :)

Don't feel you have to justify yourself on here as to how you have chosen you feed your baby - breast might be best but a happy, relaxed, stress-free mother and baby is even better.
