  1. Gifts generally are delivered to the bride's address or the MOBs address.  Taking gifts to the wedding means there's a chance for it to be stolen and it creates work for someone since it has to be put into a car and hauled home.

  2. Of course it is. Take it to the reception, there will be a gift table.

  3. Traditionally people bring Gifts w/ Cards and will be told here to place them at the reception.

If the Ceremony and Reception are in DIFFERENT locations, you will leave the gift in the car during the Ceremony and will bring it into the reception once you arrive at the location.

  4. alot of times they have a place for cards at the guestbook table

  5. Yes. It is considered customary by many to have a gift table at the reception. You don't hand the gift to the mother of the bride or even the bride herself since there is typically a table set up by the entrance.

  6. Yup, people bring gifts.  If it's too hard to bring, give a card telling the people it will be there soon.

  7. You should never bring a gift to the actual wedding (ceremony). The gifts should be brought to the reception. If you cannot make the reception, then you should mail the card to the couple. But don't bring the card to the ceremony. Plus with all the chaos during the day of the wedding the card could get lost in the shuffle.Hope this helps.
