I have inflammation of my chest wall and was told that I must take 600 mg of ibuprofen three times daily for 5 days. I ovulated 8 days ago and the pregancy test is negative right now.

  1. I wouldn't risk it as its also a blood thinner. Does your doctor know you are TTC? If they did they would probably tell you to take something else.

  2. No. Ibuprofen can interfere with implantation. Tylenol, acetamenophen, is the only safe medicine to use while TTC.

  3. call your dr and let him know that you are ttc and may be preg, and ask if there is any other drug that you can take that wouldnt hurt you on the chance that you are pregnant... women who are pregnant should not take ibuprofen, so call your dr and ask him... tylenol is the only medicine women who are pregnant can take, anything with acetomiphin, is good...
