I've always had trouble sleeping. Even if I get in bed before 10 I still cant get to sleep before 12 midnight. I want to try Nytol cos of Ramadan cos I'll be waking up at 3am so unless I get to sleep on time I'll only get a couple hours sleep plus I'm working as well.

I just wondered if it was ok to take them from an islamic point of view.

  2. Well its made by glaxoSmitthKline and i applied for a job there and when i met the recruiter, before i said hi, i could tell they didn't want me.   So i'd avoid it.

Other than that its fine.   But after a few days of only sleeping for 3 hours....you'll be able to get to bed earlier.

I never tried it, but i've taken ambien and you NEED to get 8 hours of sleep with that.....and if you don't lay down right away....the initial knock out stuff wears off and you're just high.   Most of that stuff is habit forming too....so eventually you can't sleep without it.

  3. Take it if you want, but it is useless. Just a very mild antihistimine.

  4. This question should be asked to a medical practitioner. According to Islam. if you don't have any other way to help your problem and it will not in any way harm you, and doesn't contain any non halal substance, then you can take it.

  5. If it is Haram? Then no you cannot.
