Is it ok to throw skittles at your dog?

she gets me mad and i dont wanna hit her so i throw skittles at her. which is fun but still? + if it helps i wanna be a dolphin when i grow up?

That is plain mean.............if you had a child "after you grow up that is" and that child did something wrong, would you throw skiddles at her/him?   If you say yes, then you should not have pets nor children.

What if you hit her in the eye?  That would hurt or sting badly!  

You probably should change your mind about being a dolphin "AGAIN.....when you "grow up", because huge whales may spit jelly fish at you!

if you are trying to scold her throwing skittles at her probably isn't going to stop the behavior that is making you mad...it's more like rewarding her...so i wouldn't do that...it's probably confusing her more than anything else.....

Imagine you lived with people whose language you didn't understand, with the exception of a few words. When they told you to do something and you didn't understand, would you be happy if they threw rocks at you?

Dogs DO have feelings, and they CAN understand, so why don't you try and teach her simple commands? Poor dog. I feel bad for her.

When you say skittles, do you mean the sweets? And if you do, then thats rewarding her, if she eats them.

Of course it is not ok to throw ANYTHING at your dog. If she misbehaves or does something you don't want her to do, You simply stop her from doing it by moving her from object/place and say a firm NO... keep doing this until she realizes that shes not allowed.

Please don't throw things at dogs, i don't think you would have liked it if your mother threw things at you to learn not to do something.

Baring this in mind, once she has learnt that shes not allowed to do whatever it is shes not allowed. you'll soon find she wont make you mad and you and your dog can have a nicer and happier relationship
