Is it ok to try my 3 1/2 month old daughter with Heinz baby custard?

  1. hi, you'll get a million and one answers to this question on here, my point of view is that if you do start bubs early on baby food, then start with something like rice cereal or veggies. i think most custards are egg based, ( they are here in australia anyways) so it would be best to wait till 6 months for this as she may not be able to digest it properly, and may have an allegic reaction to the egg. i started my daughter on rice cereal at 3 1/2 months and she's fine. but id talk to your doc before introducing solids so young. thats what i did


  2. Babys shouldnt be on solids until 6 months, unless ur doctor said you needed to, but 3 months is still very early, and def no dairy until 9 months, alot of babys have allergies

  3. Might be too early. The best way to find out is to ask your baby's pediatrician instead if risking the validity of all us "EXPERTS" here on Y!A, who have as many different opinions as there are fleas on a stray dog - on any subject. I think, since its a live human being we're talking about, I'd rather trust a medical expert, don't you?
