Is it ok to use a keyboard with a missing key?

I accidently knocked the plastic key off my keyboard and now just the metal pad is exposed where the plastic hits. Is it safe to use it without the plastic?

  1. of course it is safe

    why not email (or better- phone) the makers and ask for a key. most of them will send a few keys out for free

    In school we had a few computer that were missing key and we still had to type on the computer.
