  1. The only people that would even think this is racist are the uneducated ignorant people that are the same ones that continue to look for a fight.

  2. Consumes everything, destroys civilization and creation in its wake... yields nothing of worth... sounds about right to me

  3. Depends on how you use it.

  4. a black hole is a point in space were all the gravity is concentrated and no light can escape it has nothing to do with racism

  5. It's about as racist as a blackboard in a classroom.

  6. That would depend entirely on the context.

  7. no, it's not ok.  we're giving a black hole a negative connotation by calling it a black hole.  so we should call it something better, more intuitive, like backwards bung hole, because stuff only goes in and never comes out, just the opposite of a real bunghole, unless your g*y.

  8. go ahead and use it, anyone offended by it is racist themselves as "Black Hole" had nothing to do with ethnicality

  9. Black hole was never racist. If you're gonna call it racist, then why not call White Dwarf racist? Or Red Dwarf racist?

  10. astronomy is a racially neutral science.  how could that term be used in an offensive way? be sure you know the meaning of terms you use.
