I use Enfamil Lipil and I was thinking of giving my daughter Enfamil Thickened at night. My daughter is 4 weeks old.

  1. You should just stick with one formula.  It may upset her stomach going on too many kinds.  If she is doing well on the Enfamil Lipil then just stick with that.

  2. I asked my dr almost the same question but with similac and enfamil and they said they dont recommend it because it could upset the baby's stomach but i had done it earlier because i had free samples of both and it didnt seem to bother him at all. So ask your dr and you are the mom and you know you child best so you do what you think is best. you could always try and see how your baby reacts to it.

  3. No don't mess with it. Their little tummies are very sensitive right now

  4. Yeah, I wouldn't try anything different, unless you are having problems with what you are using.  When we tried the enfamil pre-mixed, when we had been using powder, our little one got very constipated.  Any changes in formula can really mess up their delicate little systems.  If you are having problems with Enfamil lipil, then I suggest gradually changing to a different formula, by slowly replacing bottles of the old with new, at 1-2 the first day, 3-4 the second, and so on.
