Question:

Is it ok to use two different types of bottle nipples interchangeably as long as the baby will take both?

I just switched to medium flow, I have two silicone and two latex nipples that are slightly different in shape but both fit the same bottle, she doesn't seem to mind either one so is there any problem in varying which one I use depending on which one is clean at the time?

  1. Not a problem at all;  I use 2 different bottle nipples a lot of the times.  My son is pretty use to the both of them.

  2. If she doesn't seem to mind then it's okay. My kids were (for the most part) breastfed. They always tell you to be careful about nipple confusion. But my kids took bottles and pacifiers early on and never got "confused".

  3. it shouldnt matter as long as she accepts both and gets milk from them easily.

And as long as she's not allergic to latex.

    Hope this helped!

    GOOD LUCK =]

  4. i dont see a problem

  5. If your daughter is happy with both and able to drink successfully from both, it isn't a problem.

  6. I used two different nipples, plus nursed, since the baby was born; he's 16 months old now and is doing fine switching around (now around different types of sippy cups).  I wouldn't worry about it.

  7. Not enough teeth.

  8. As long as she is taking them both then you have no problem actually very lucky my daughter will only take one type.

  9. No problem at all.  My son took all different kinds.  As long as they are drinking, I think it is actually better to have a variety, that way when you go to wean her she doesn't have a SPECIFIC craving and will transition better to a sippy cup
