Is it ok to wear gym shoes?

i am going to a camp and have no volleyball shoes will gym shoes work

it wont matter.  the only difference with vb shoes is that they usually have more traction, and are made for the lateral and quick movements.  gym shoes work fine.   and cross trainers work well too.  when you become really serious about the sport, then think about investing in a good pair of vb shoes.  my coaches say any pair of court shoes work which is basically a gym shoe.  have fun!

yea...gym shoes should work fine as long as they have good traction on them... :)
