Is it okay? Blitz!?

Question

Is it okay to take a shower while its thundering & lightening outside?

(I don't have to leave until a few hours but I have alot to do.)

Will I survive?

i wonder the same question so wat i do is wait or take a real quick shower

Usually storms don't last more than 20 to 30 minutes so I would wait until the storm quiets down. And also count the seconds after you see it thunder and divide by 5, then you can figure out how many miles the storm is from you. If you see lightning and hear thunder at the same time, or within 5 seconds of each other, then I would reccommend not to get in the shower, but there is over a 5 to 10 second interval after lightning till you hear thunder, then I think you will be fine taking a shower because the storm is about 2 miles away.
