Is it okay for 17 year olds to have s*x?

This girl and boy are both 17 and they have been dating for four (almost five) years. They just started having s*x this year. They seem to have a good relationship that looks to last. They both do not have STDs and they were virgins and have not slept with anyone else and they wanted to try it out. Is this wrong?

  1. i think its wrong,u can have it after your marriage, you have to just wait for 1 more year.so wait patiently and get married soon after 1 year.

  2. no its fine if they r both ready

  3. if you are safe.

  4. Use protection dude! :))

  5. if they are both consenting and using protection - then fine!

  6. no its not wrong at all, they need to use protection though! x

  7. No! It is being human. Both are young adults not children, in a committed relationship and using protection. Sounds like everything is right.

  8. This one's tough to answer for me. I personally believe you should wait til marriage, but if they've been together so long and have a good relationship and are both consenting and ready for this, i don't see a problem as long as they use protection.

  9. No, this is not wrong. They are both 17 and this is perfectly legal. Its good that they have been together for a long time before rushing into s*x. Just remember : safe s*x = responsible s*x

  10. are they both prepared to have a kid? The answer to that is the answer to the question.

  11. Honestly, if you think you're ready to handle the responsibility and you use protection, then it's ok. s*x is a big responsibility and no one know when you're truly ready except you. Just keep in mind that neither condoms nor birth control pills are 100%, so you should be prepared to face the consequences should either of those fail.
