Is it okay for a guy to carry a purse or a handbag?

when i put my wallet in my back pocket it hurts and its sometimes a pain in the butt to try to get in and out

I do it. I have for years. I've used sleek Kenneth Cole men's bags and carry-on travel bags to straight up purses. I find what works best for me is  a tote (like the canvas ones people take to the library) with a zip-up pocket at the opening. If I get laughed at, people certainly don't do it to my face and it's just so much handier

If you want to by all means carry a purse. But be warned that in this society you will be laughed at an ridiculed in public. Sorry to be so harsh but it's the truth.

Get a man bag, haha it's kinda like a purse but it goes over your chest and on one shoulder.  Coach makes some really nice ones, think of it more as a personal organizer that you wear around your chest.

Honestly why is everyone so square?I mean theres nothing wrong with a guy to carry a purse.Look up Bryan Boy,he carries a purse and it looks super cool and stylish.Not to mention there are countless numbers of men in asia who walk down the street carrying purses and most of them are with there girl friends.I think everyone is dumb and theres nothing wrong in the end of the day no one cares about you it's there self they care about.Even people who are jealous are thinking of themselves and are selfish.

A guy friend of mine has only recently started carrying around a small handbag. He realized it is a lot more comfortable to carry his wallet, keys, phone and i-pod in his bag then to try to shove a bunch of that in his pants pocket.  

So to answer your question, yes it should be okay for a guy to carry a purse or handbag.  Whatever is most comfortable for him to carry his stuff and to get it in & out.  Who cares what others think.  =)

Um, without being politically correct, the honest truth (not that I agree with it) is that, no it isn't ok in this society. Sorry, that's just the cold hard truth. You'll probably get stared and laughed at.
