  1. Yes

  2. Why would they want to?

  3. Sure, anyone can be an American.

  4. why does it matter?

unless you're ridiculously good looking or filthy rich, the British Royalty are not even going to think about touching you.

  5. Yes, it is definitely okay for anyone to marry a royal British family member provided that there will not be any "religion conflicts" involved. Although this policy may be exempted in the future due to religion discrimination. However, until it happens, any royal member who marries a Catholic member must forfeit its rights to the claim the British throne (unless that person agrees to become a Protestant by converting its faith).

Note: HRH Princess Beatrice is currently dating her American commoner boyfriend, David Clark. A friend of Prince William from his inner circle, he was introduced to her by Prince William. After dating for eight months, David Clark has taken the relationship a step further by giving a Russian wedding ring to Princess Beatrice. The source added, “Clearly, it’s not an official engagement or wedding ring as Beatrice is still only 18, but Dave has told Beatrice that it’s a sign of his commitment to her and that’s more than enough for Beatrice.”

Dave Clark is the son of Michael Clark, a wealthy American who was a senior lawyer at Cadbury Schweppes until he retired last year. His family live in a £5million mansion in Hampstead. Beatrice is said to be smitten by her boyfriend, who works for Sir Richard’s Virgin Galactic space tourism project, and she has apparently told friends he is ‘the one’, and both of her parents approves of him.

  6. Yes,as long as this person is Church of England or Protestant, preferably not a divorcee, has no criminal background,is intelligent,well-educated,

well-mannered,is socially adept to be able to deal with people from all walks of life, has approval of Queen and Privy Council.

And King of Fresno,YOU are the one who needs to learn history. The reason why Edward VIII's marriage was not acceptable was because Wallis Simpson was a TWO-time divorcee, not because she was American!

Kimberly must also bone up on history as well;non-royals marry royals these days,so you are mistaken about "royal bloodlines."A person from a good non-royal family who meets the standards stated above can marry into the family.Non-royals, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon(The Queen Mother),Diana Frances Spencer(Princess of Wales),Sarah Ferguson(Duchess of York),Americans Grace Kelly(Monaco) and Lisa Halaby(Queen Noor of Jordan) have all married into Royal families.

  7. Of course it is, anyone can marry a member of the royal family. However they cannot be of the Catholic faith and if they are they would have to convert to become a Protestant.

  8. So long as the American is not divorced and the other up for the throne...???...

Couldn't help it. After the things Charles and his, ah, wife have brought to the royal family, how could anything else matter? I don't say that sarcastically, instead I find it sad. I honestly don't see how that can matter anymore.

  9. Sure, but depending on their own history, and the rank of the royal, might not be accepted by the rest of the club.

  10. if it is the fate...nobody can changed it!!!

  11. NO its bloody not, and if it happens I'm moving to Australia.

  12. Not much of a historian, are you?

King Edward VIII gave up the throne in 1936 to marry an American; as a result, his niece Elizabeth became Queen.

  13. I think you will be surprised if you google your question. It use to be that the daughters of all the rich Americans would be marrying royal/noble men. They had the money to pay the bills and he had the title for the father to boast about

  14. i understand that they too are human beings & do the same.

  15. Ya it's ok not highly looked upon but possible

  16. I think so, as long as the American isn't a roman catholic

  17. I wouldn't think so. I think they want to keep the blood line royal.

  18. if you can put up with their snobbery...h**l YEAH!!!

besides, the british have a lot of good things from which we can learn.

  19. Of course. (The reason Edward VIII had to abdicate when he married Wallis Simpson was that she was divorced, which was very scandalous back in the 1930s. It was nothing to do with her being American.)

Members of the British royal family can marry anybody they like, even a Roman Catholic . But if they marry a Catholic, they lose their right to succeed to the throne unless the person converts to the Church of England. That would be a big deal in the case of e.g. Princes William and Harry, but if you're the Queen's second cousin and forty-seventh in line to the throne, it's not a big deal renouncing your theoretical succession rights, and several royals have done it.

  20. of course it is, and If I were you. I get married straight away and become a king!
