Is it okay for my outside dog too...?

is it okay for her to have a automatic feeder?opposed to being feed twice daily?

Well it depends on whether or not you will forget about him with the automatic feeder.  Hopefully he isn't forgotten out there all the time, and you are interacting with him on a daily basis.  If he is a grazer, then the feeder may work, but dogs like routine and feeding time can be part of that routine.

They greatest value of feeding your dog twice a day is that it brings you into contact with your dog. If that is too much trouble, maybe you should rethink having a pet.

Why did you even buy a dog in the first place?! Dog's aren't meant to be outside all day!  STOP BEING LAZY AND FEED YOUR DOG YOURSELF!

   I need to point out that if you are not out two times a day then who knows how your dog is doing and he may get awful lonely if he looks forward to those visits!  And two times a day is not all that much time to see your dog !  

The other point I wanted to make is that a self feeder will attract rodents, and they get ransid  feed in them if not cleaned out daily and dried off..the moisture from night air and such I suppose..My neighbor had one it lasted like less than a week and she pitched it for that reason..another is that if the food continually falls  to the bowl area and it rains or anything you will have maggots and harm the dog or waste a ton of food!  

I assuming  the dog is outside at a box and not in a sheltered enclosure.

Personally I wouldn't waste the money or the food!  I would just feed the dog after a walk or  something  and whatever your schedule is..

Why do you keep your dog outside all the time?

Dogs are pack animals and would rather spend their lives living with their owner and their family.

Outside dogs are more likely to become aggressive due to frustration and confusion of being left alone.

To answer your question... If you have an automatic feeder would you have spent time with your dog? or would they be left alone all the time? is yes then no I don;t think its a good idea.

Also agree with someone else, it would attract other animals.

You'll attract every scavanger in the neighborhood.  Stop being lazy.  Spend some time with you dog and feed it.
