Well, my friends parents were cleaning out their shed, and they found some eggs, and asked me if they were snake eggs, and i said yes. they didn't want them around their house, so being the reptile lover I am, I took them home and put them in a tuba ware thing with some sand under then and poked holes in the top of the tuba ware and put them in the 75 gallon tank that my bearded dragon is in, that way he cant get to them and when they hatch can't get to him. Seeing as how I don't know what kind of snake it is, and I've never had a snake. I'm just wondering if their even alive. there is only five, one is white, and the rest are a pinkish color. is that a bad thing?

  1. im not really an reptile person but,i'm afraid the pink ones arnet any good.ive seen alot of snake eggs in books, but not any pink ones.i think the white one is okay.by the way,how big are the eggs? did ur freinds parents have a snake in their house?do they have a pet snake that got lost? you may want to look it up.

  2. i'm sorry but i just have to laugh a little. it really is very cute that you're calling tupperware, tuba ware. I'm not making fun of you, i just think it is really cute. Snake eggs you'll want to incubate in the mid 70's to the mid 80's. I would keep incubating them and if the eggs start to collapse or kind of crumple and turn yellowish and smell, they're going bad. As long as they're firm for the moment, just keep incubating them. You'll also want the box to be slightly moist. I would use vermiculite or pearlite instead of sand b/c they hold water better and mold does not grow in those substances easily.
