Is it okay to bring hand sanitizer on the plane?

I have a 18mL/0.6 fl.oz. travel sized bottle of hand sanitizer and I'm pretty sure I can take it in my carry on bag but do I have to put it in a zip lock bag or do any of those procedures? thanks!

yea..you have to put it in a transparent ziplock bag..which i think they can provide in the airport.. =]

less than 3 oz is okay. if thats the only liquid you are bringing you can usually just take it out of your bag and toss it into a tray through xray

Yes, as long as it's under 2 oz and in a ziploc bag.

It is a gel, so you will need to put it in a ziplock.  The size you listed is just fine.
