My friend have been ttc. 10 more days to her supposed period but she knew that she's pregnant. However, now she's having diarrhea for almost 2 days already. Is it okay for her to consume activated charcoal? Thanks in advance.

  1. Uhhhhhhh.... I'm pretty sure charcoal is taken (at a hospital) if you've ingested something toxic... I could be wrong. Maybe I'm the idiot... Or maybe your friend is.

Tell her to call a doctor.

  2. Have her dissolve one to two teaspoons jello powder in warm water and drink it. That is a safe cure for diarrhea.

  3. its labeled as a type B drug which mean it has not been widely reasearched in pregnant women and the long term effects are not known. This includes pills like GAS X and such that are not that great to take. Plus that activated charcoal is more for like gas. When i was in my 1st trimester i suffered from a stomach virus soooo i was told to take imodium AD until it went away thats a much safer drug to take.

    Good luck!
