Is it okay to dye your hair when the box did not come with the hair dye conditioner ?

i found an old box of hair dye that i had not used. so i decided to dye my hair. i dyed it before looking in the box and seeing that there was no conditioner that is supposed to come with it. will my hair suffer from it ?

i use my regular conditioner because those lil packets arent enuff and my hair is just fine

I would consider checking the box for an experation date jus to make sure, Bcause if it does provide an expired date u hair & ur scalp can suffer, Bcause its chemicals that dnt respond after a certain amount of time or it can B worse. I would also check if the product includes conditioner within the dye or check the paper w/ the instructions & the gloves included together to see what shld B included in the box which is mandatory for the distributor of the box name brand to provide. If ur very concerned & cnt find the experation date or if there shld B conditioner call the hotline, to B honest I did that hotline things w/ this relaxer my mom bought, jus to avoid any hair mistakes that I can B accused of provoking Bcause I didn't call for help ya know. Jus B cautious u dnt wanna risk ur hair jus for some dye, go catch a sale on a hair dye that is fresh, ur hair deserves it.

Yeah, the conditioner is only supposed to help maintain the color for a little longer but you can hit your local drug store and buy conditioner formulated for color treated hair.
