  1. If thats how much you comfortably eat in a day, I worry about you. You must be sitting around all day... try getting some exercise no offense intended.

  2. the average for a woman os 2000 so ..........yes, your sort of starving yourself

  3. You can't survive on 500 calories.  That is a meals worth of calories.  You need to eat at least 1000-1200 calories.  To lose weight it isn't how little you eat, but what you eat.  And you have to exercise.  And with a 500 calorie intake a day- it is very unhealthy to exercise.

  4. Not really. At least try to get 1750 calories a day. If you keep this 500 stuff up, the weight will fly right off you. I'm not sure whether or not you want it though.

  5. You are asking for medical advice from strangers on the Internet. The choices you are making could affect the rest of your life We are amateurs and volunteers. If we give you the wrong advice, you will not be able to hold us responsible for the damage to your body.

Using Ivan's formula, you must weigh less than 41 pounds on that calorie intake.

    Please consult your physician.

  6. No, your body will go into shock which leads to starvation control. This is when you are not eating enough and your body starts to hold in everything you eat because it thinks you are starving. Your weight will start to incline.

  7. If you feel fine then go for it. You must not do a lot of exercise.

  8. This depends entirely on your size, the nutritional value of the 500 calories and the energy you expend in one day. If the 500 calories are high in fibre, vitamins and minerals, you are quite small and you sit around all day, then you may be in the clear. If you are also exercising excessively, then you would really want to consider evaluating what you are doing to yourself. Certain eating disorders can be described as addictions and you really do not want to be setting yourself up for something like that.

  9. This is THE HUNGER STRIKE!

  10. no one should eat less than 1200 calories a day (assuming you are a teenager or adult). It is impossible to obtain the nutrition your body needs to function with only 500 caloreis/day. Example, you will not get enough protein, which will force your body to break down muscle to get the protein you need. You will suffer from heart damage, because the heart is a muscle. You can kill brain cells too. Your brain cells are the one type of cells in the body that cannot store glucose, they need a steady stream of glucose from their blood supply. The list could go on and on

  11. ABSOLUTELY NOT.  If you drop down below 1200 calories a day, your body goes into starvation mode.  Even though you say you feel fine, your body is slowly breaking down and starving for nutrients.  Plus, you're ruining your metabolism.

  12. In order for your body to function properly you must eat 12 calories per pound you weigh. You tellme if you are eating enough.

  13. you are by definition anorexic, your body will pay for this, ultimately so will you, perhaps even with your life.  Suggest you get help.
