Is it okay to eat expired popcorn?

my brother was living with me for a few months and occasionally bought groceries. Now that he is gone, I found a box of popcorn that he bought and it expired in Feb 2008. Is it okay to heat it up and eat it now that its August?

i ate a bag maybe a year expired, and it was fine! As long as the popcorn hasn't been exposed to extreme conditions (water, fire, ect.) it will be just as good as ever ;)

yes it is because popcorn is sealed up it doesent rot as fast as other foods
