Is it okay to feed pop corn to wild birds?

Even if it's the microwave kind with salt and butter flavoring?

  1. It won't kill them to eat it BUT we shouldn't feed wild birds and make them dependent on us, otherwise when the piopcorn source goes away, they will die.  Feed your own domestic birds all the popcorn you wnat though.


  2. Well I never seen a bird get hurt by it yet.

  3. wild birds will not eat grains they do not like, however, if you feed the birds a lot of popcorn grains, and than put them (the birds, not the grains) in the microwave, don't expect the birds to pop.
