  1. My sis had a betta, she would feed him frozen brine shrimp...he would go nuts over it! I don't see anything wrong with feeding your lil' guy freeze dried bloodworms as long as you feed it as a treat, they still need the nutrients of the flake food.

  2. probibly so but all they really need are flakes

  3. As a treat yes!

  4. i always feed my bettas freeze dried bloodworms. they love it!!!

  5. yes, its okay. It's my betta's favorite!

  6. Absolutely, bettas love bloodworms, but only as treats. Bloodworms alone are not nutritious enough for them. Your bettas staple should be a high quality pellet food like Betta Banquet Premium Betta Food by Seachem or Hikari Betta Bio-Gold. Your betta will happily eat bloodworms all the time because it like ice cream for them but it lacks essential vitamins and minerals that are supplemented in the pellet food and not the bloodworms. You can feed them bloodworms twice a week and all the other time the pellets. Other treats that my bettas love are brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, daphnia, fruit flys, krill, baby crickets and blanched peas (for digestion).

    Hope this helps!

  7. You not alone someone else asked it too:

    This was the best answer:

Your beta can definitely survive on bloodworms. Feeding your beta a varied diet of frozen, freeze dried and flake foods can keep your beta's fins long and colorful. You can feed your beta only bloodworms and he will do just fine. I try to vary my beta's diet and his fins look pretty amazing. Bloodworms will work just fine. Try to vary your beta's diet if possible.

    Hope that helped you out.

  9. ya

  10. Yes, as part of a mixed diet they are fine.

Best not to feed your fish the same diet all the time, mix it up a bit with different types of foods.
