Is it okay to get your teeth whiten when you get your braces the same day?

They won't let you do both in the same day(at least a dentist/orthodontist with a brain.) Wait till you get your braces off.

Well, getting them whitened before you get braces is kind of pointless....when you get them off you will have little white squares in the middle of your teeth. If you get them whitened after, it might be the other way around. Why not wait until you get your braces off?

Dear it is fine if you get bleaching before the placement of the braces on the same day. there will not be any problem with it. But its always better if you review it after your orthodontic treatment is over, and then take decision on whitening.

No offense intended but it would be dumb. I would do it afterwards so you don't waste money because they will get yellow at least a bit under the bracket

i think you should wait till when you get them off. braces hide the majority of your tooth.

unless their as yellow as a banana, i would definetly wait

Well I don't know if it makes sense to whiten teeth that will be covered, or braces. Kind of pointless.
