Is it okay to go surfing 4 weeks after getting earlobes pierced?

I want to go surfing tomorrow but i got my ears pierced about 4.5 weeks ago. Would that not be enough time for it to heal. I am afraid of getting an infection. How long would i have to wait?

Also, for how long after getting my ears pierced would i need to keep cleaning it?

ya its totally fine.

i got my cartilage pierced and went surfing 8 days later and it was fine

just be sure to clean it really well after and to turn it.

how long u keep cleaning it depends on how quickly u heal.

id say keep cleaning them for a couple months and then if they start to feel irritated at any point, start cleaning them again.

try sticking with earrings that are made out of gold or something like that to lower ur risk of infection.
