Is it okay to go swimming at the beach with a tampon on?

I've never worn a tampon before and today I'm going to the beach that we've been planning for months so I really want to swim... it's almost the end of my cycle... just a little blood left so should I use a tampon or would it be best to just stay out of the water?

You can most definitely go into the water with a tampon. Whether you just started or your on the back half of your cycle, if you put a tampon in you can swim anywhere. I'm a competitive swimmer, so I'm always in the water and I've never had a problem with tampons. Enjoy the beach!

just use a Regular tampon and you'll be fine.
