Is it okay to have a bottle of Absinthe Essence posted in the mail?

I just ordered absinthe esscence from the US, it is to be sent to Australia, I know that Absinthe has been legalised last year, but I'm worried about it when it goes through the post.

Has anyone had trouble concerning this?

I doubt you will have problems with shipping as this is just a wormwood infused oil made in Sweden. In my opinion the best way to make absinthe at home is to use a herbal infusion kit and not one of these cheap oil essences.

You shouldn't have a problem with delivery but maybe breakage. I've never understood why absinthe was banned- studies have shown that its no more harmful than any other alcoholic beverage. You could call your local post office and find out what they will or will not ship internationally just to be sure.
